**Ọ̀ya Feast Day — October 15** Ọ̀ya is a powerful Orisha associated with transformation, change, movement, storms, winds, and transitions. She represents the strength it takes to move through major changes and step into what comes next. For this special **Ọ̀ya Feast Day Ritual**, I will be preparing a feast in her honor and performing the ritual on behalf of those who choose to participate. ### What can Ọ̀ya support? Ọ̀ya may be called upon for: * Transformation and major life transitions * Movement when things have become stagnant * Strength and courage during difficult changes * Protection during periods of transition * Clearing stagnant or heavy energy * The courage to leave behind what no longer serves you * Moving forward into a new chapter You may also submit a personal petition if there is something specific you would like included in the feast. **But you do not have to ask Ọ̀ya for anything.** Honoring an Orisha does not always have to be about making a request. You can participate simply to acknowledge Ọ̀ya, show respect, express gratitude, and honor her presence and power. Sometimes the most meaningful offering is simply **recognition.** On **October 15**, I will be performing this special Ọ̀ya Feast Day Ritual for everyone who chooses to participate. You may come with a petition. Or you may simply come to honor Ọ̀ya. **Both are welcome.**
